    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Work as a member of the Early Head Start (EHS) and Head Start (HS) team to plan and implement center based programs for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, and their families. Direct the EHS plan and HS plan, and implement daily activities which promote language, cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for children, birth to age 5. 

    Ensure that the center maintains compliance with the Head Start/EHS performance standards and licensing requirements.

    Required Experience: Early Head Start and Head Start experience preferred,

    Position Summary

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Assistant to support daily Human Resources operations. This role provides administrative support to the HR department and assists with recruiting, onboarding, employee records, and general HR functions. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department

    • Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates

    • Support onboarding and orientation for new hires

    • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation

    • Process employment verifications, personnel changes, and other HR-related paperwork

    • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required

    • 1–2 years of administrative or HR support experience preferred

    • Strong organizational and time management skills

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

    Experience: Early Head Start experience preferred

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assists in planning and implementing the daily activities of the Head Start classroom (pre-K children 3 years or older) in a variety of activities to develop social, motor and academic skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Early childhood experience

    • Experience in Preschool experience teaching preferred.

    • Ability to speak Spanish is desirable/essential
