Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide prenatal and postpartum information, education and services for pregnant women and expecting families. To provide in-home instruction as well as a group socialization experiences. Maintain on-going contact with families and work with all components (health, nutrition, family services, mental health, special services, parent education and resource/referral) to integrate services into the family setting. Must meet requirements per Federal Head Start Performance Standards and any local, state and or agency policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
Ability to speak fluently and write in English and Spanish.
Requires knowledge and experience in data collection and information processes and systems along with knowledge of childcare regulations, policy and procedure compliance.
Advance computer literacy including: database management, word processing, internet, and email.
Excellent communication skills: written and verbal.
Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards, philosophy and mission desirable.
