At the Northwest Arkansas Green Forest Head Start Center every child has an equal opportunity to enroll and participate in our program.  We have been in our community for over 40 years and continue to have a good, long-standing relationship with the community and its citizens. 

Head Start children are enrolled from a diverse background.  Our equally diverse staff accommodates children of several ethnicities and races. We maintain full enrollment each year through the support of our community, word of mouth referrals, and our history of success.  Many families choose to send their child to Green Forest Head Start because they themselves (or friends and family) attended here. We are honored to have  served and educated multiple generations of children and their families throughout the years.

This year one of our focuses is transitioning children into kindergarten.  We want and strive for every child to be socially well adjusted and totally prepared when it is time for the first school day in kindergarten.  We truly want our children to have a strong "Head Start" on that big day.
