Application Process

When applying for an open position at Northwest Arkansas Head Start, please follow the steps outlined below. If you are unable to complete the online steps, you can request an application by calling the Human Resource Department (479-636-7317) or by stopping by our Central Office in Rogers.

Then, fill out the pre-application and submit it. (you may attach your resume)

The information you submit on your pre-application is automatically sent to our Human Resources Manager. After receiving the submission of your pre-application, we will contact qualified applicants for follow up.  You may be asked to complete a full application or come in for an interview.  Federal regulations require background checks and TB tests of all successful applicants.  Northwest Arkansas Head Start also submits all new hires to drug screenings.  Thank you for your interest in a career with Northwest Arkansas Head Start.

What do I bring to interview?

Please bring the following items if you are called for an interview:

    • Driver's License
    • SS Card (or other 2nd ID)
    • Diploma or Degree
    • Certified Copy of Transcripts (if degreed)
    • Auto Insurance Card
    • Current TB Test Result (if you have it)
    • Current CPR Card (if you have it)
